It was an in-person interview where we discussed background questions, and I met some other employees. We talked about communication skills, work schedule, and if I was interested in part-time work with varying hours. The manager was very friendly. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview, and they were flexible with my needs.

So I went to this interview at Carolina Place Mall. The interviewer handed me a paper quiz to see if I could follow instructions properly; it was a bit of a trick test because you weren't supposed to write anything down even though it said to. After that, they asked me about my availability and the general job requirements. When I mentioned I didn't have experience as a cashier, the interviewer decided the job wasn't a good fit for me and wished me well.

Got contacted about an interview about a week before. The manager interviewed me in the studio on a slow day in October. He asked questions then finished with the teddy bear posing and photography. Then I was asked to provide availability. Simple interview, I expected all of it.

The hiring process went really fast. First, I sat down with the manager in a studio. She asked me the typical questions like why I wanted the job and why they should hire me. It went well, and the manager was really nice. Afterwards, I was told I'd be called back for the paid training. The training was in a group setting with about 10 people. We learned about the company and important stuff like how to pose, sell, and greet customers. They also showed us how to use the camera with live demos and workshops. We all got logins for our Lifetouch account where we set up banking and studio info. There were also some required tests. Once the 4 days of training and tests were done, we were ready to start working. I got hired as a Sales Associate but could also work as a photographer.
