Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JCDecaux.
Marketing Executive
The process involved an interview with the marketing manager, a presentation assessment, and a final review with the managing director. The interviews were straightforward and timely, with no long waits to know if you advanced. Questions were typical about oneself and background, plus some behavioral assessment questions.
- Can you describe your past marketing experience?
Marketing Executive
We start with an HR call to get to know you better, covering your background, what drives you, and what you're looking for. If it looks like a good match, you'll then interview with the hiring manager for the specific role. After that, there might be a skills or technical test if it applies. Then, you'll meet with the team for a panel or peer interview to see how you'd fit in with the group. For some positions, there's a final chat with leadership to make sure your vision aligns with the company's. If everything checks out, we'll extend an offer and get you onboarded. We aim to keep you informed, respect your time, and make sure it's a good experience.
- Tell me about your experience with data in your past roles.
Marketing
Had a really nice chat with HR, they were super open about the challenges, salary, how many days we could work from home, future prospects, and what they thought about the role. It was a pretty standard interview, no tricks, just a mutual introduction.
- If your colleagues were to describe you, what would they say?
