The hiring process begins with an interview with HR, then you meet with a group of supervisors. After that, you'll do drug and background checks, including fingerprinting. Once those are done, you have to complete a TCI class and if you pass that, you're officially hired. The whole thing takes about a month.

Had a standard interview with my future supervisor where they explained their expectations for the role and the difficulty of the work. It was very informative. I think it's good to be interviewed by the potential supervisor rather than a recruiter because it allows both parties to get a feel for who they'll be working with. I also think it's advantageous for the actual supervisor to talk to you and get a sense of your personality and abilities.

This was a competitive interview process. There were 4 rounds in total, all conducted over ZOOM. They wanted to know about my experience working with minority populations and asked me to describe times I've dealt with clients in crisis. Honestly, the overall process wasn't too hard.

The interviewer was friendly. If you have the relevant experience, you'll get the job. The organization requires drug testing and fingerprinting. Due to high turnover, it's hard to get follow-ups and support when things get tough.
