So I started with an email exchange with James Mankowski, and then we did a phone interview, and the last step was an in-person interview. He asked pretty standard interview questions, and also wanted me to talk about myself and what I've done. It was a really comfortable and informative chat. I answered everything fully and honestly.

I had a really formal interview with the Area Manager. They asked me a bunch of yes/no questions and I had to do a quick handwriting test. The Area Manager was in full uniform and had a really strong presence, which made me a little nervous when I was answering.

First, I had to fill out a questionnaire that tested my basic math, logic, and grammar skills. Then, I waited to be called in. They looked over my resume, asked me questions about it to make sure they understood it. After that, they talked about the job, what it involves, the pay, and what equipment I would need, plus the qualifications required. I then signed some documents and had to undergo a background check.

I applied on line. First, I spoke with the office by telephone. Then, I was called in for two in person meetings. The first was with the branch manager and patrol lieutenant. The second meeting was for an online exam, and it took place in a conference room where I was asked a series of questions about how I would handle incidents, etc.
