So first, they look at your resume, cover letter, and application. If you make the cut, they'll call you. Then there's this first interview, could be HR, a phone call, or online. They just wanna chat about your background, communication skills, and what you're looking for pay-wise and when you can start. After that, it's the technical part. You might get asked stuff about the job, or for us tech folks, maybe a written test, coding challenge, or some problems to solve. This is to see what you actually know and can do. Lastly, the final interview. This could be in person or virtual, with some higher-ups or tech gurus. They'll mostly ask you about how you handle situations, solve problems, your past projects, and if you'd fit in with the team.

I was interviewing for a QMS Engineer role at a JBM group plant in Gurgaon. A recruiter reached out after seeing my profile online. The next step was an on-site interview with the General Manager and Quality Head. Although the interview itself went well and I felt I answered questions honestly and effectively, the role included QMS responsibilities alongside a manufacturing one, which led to the end of the interview. It was a good experience overall.
