Associate Brand Manager
The whole process dragged on for months, I had to keep chasing them for updates. Applied in November and got the offer in February. Honestly, waiting this long for a response or an offer is too much, and they need to be more upfront with candidates about what's happening when they're waiting.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Could you walk me through your previous work experience?
Director of Planning
The hiring process had four rounds. It started with the headhunter, then HR, followed by the heads of departments, and concluded with the Senior Vice President. Everyone on the team was great – really professional and friendly. They made sure it felt like a two-way conversation.
- Given a problem the company is currently facing, how would you approach solving it?
Photographer
I had an online interview via Google Meet, followed by an in-person interview at their HQ. The team seemed engaged and had a well-organized process for photoshoots. After the interviews, I was given an evaluation test. They sent me three products to photograph, which required studio access with strobes. Some photos needed to be creative, not just e-commerce, and I wasn't sure about the exact direction needed. More art direction would have helped clarify expectations. I was told I'd get a quick response, but it took three weeks to get an automated rejection email. About a week later, the recruiter confirmed I didn't get the position, so I was rejected twice! Too bad, it looked like a great place to work.
- How would you approach photographing this product?
Manager
I had a great interview experience with Jazwares. It was well organized, thoughtful, and genuinely engaging. The team made me feel welcomed, and the office environment was energetic, creative, and full of life. The conversation felt collaborative rather than transactional, and I appreciated how intentional the questions were around both experience and culture fit. It was refreshing to meet a team that is clearly passionate about what they do while still being approachable and authentic. Overall, a very positive and memorable interview experience.
- How do you plan to stay organized?
