Systems Engineer
After you apply by sending in your resume and cover letter, a recruiter will screen your application to see if you match the qualifications and experience. Then, you'll likely have a phone or video call to check your basic qualifications and communication skills. This call is usually with a recruiter and lasts about 15-30 minutes. They'll probably ask about your resume, why you want the job, and some basic stuff about the role.

Client Success Manager
The interview process felt disorganized and poorly executed. It started with the CEO asking me to turn on my camera but not doing so himself, which created an awkward atmosphere. I was given an assignment with unclear verbal instructions and no written ones. After expressing disinterest, they offered a meeting with another person who seemed more competent. The CEO's answers were vague regarding company culture and the job description, but the VP provided more clarity, though it was still concerning. There were many red flags throughout the process. I accepted an offer, resigned from my previous job, and then experienced over four months of silence from Jasper Colin. Four months after my intended start date, they apologized for the delay, explaining a hiring freeze due to a restructure and a plan to onboard all pending hires immediately. By then, I was interviewing with two other companies without red flags and chose to ignore their email. Based on this experience, I would advise others to avoid this company. If this is how they treat new hires when trying to impress, I can only imagine their treatment of existing employees.

Client Engagement Manager
I got contacted by a recruiter for a zoom screening. She was super nice for most of the call, but then got really defensive and confrontational when I asked to see some of JC's work. I kind of brushed it off. I noticed online that all the company reviews seemed fake and there were no real articles or interviews with the CEO. When I brought this up with the recruiter, she said they were launching a new website soon, which is why there's nothing online. My second interview was with a VP who had only been there a week. The interview was fine, but the VP couldn't really talk about the company's history or culture, just that the CEO is a great guy. They kept saying everything was perfect and the CEO was an inspiration when I asked what they'd improve. Then I had an interview with the CEO. He was late, didn't know the role I was applying for, and used some manipulative tactics, like repeating the same question with a harsher tone. He dodged my question about JC's future plans, saying someone else should have told me or that we'd discuss it in person. There was a contradiction about JC's US expansion – the recruiter and VP said it was new, but the CEO implied he'd been here a long time, and LinkedIn showed past employees indicating a 5-10 year expansion. At the end, the CEO asked me to meet him at his hotel, and HR sent a form about salary and benefits expectations. I decided to withdraw from the process. If you're interviewing with Jasper Colin and get any red flags, it's a good idea to talk to former employees for a more accurate picture of the company culture than the overly positive online reviews suggest.

UX/UI Designer
HR reached out on LinkedIn to schedule the interview. There were 4 rounds in total. The first round, the senior interviewer was late and rescheduled, which was irritating. Then, they rushed through the design task and cut the call short. After completing the second and third rounds which involved a design task, the final round with the CEO was a huge waste of time. The CEO, who kept his camera off, rushed me, saying he only had 5 minutes and asked me to introduce myself. He then introduced a new, unrelated 'Video Design' task, stating it was the deciding factor for joining the company. I spoke with HR afterwards, reiterating that the hiring criteria only required one design task, which I had already completed and passed. Since then, HR has been making excuses about the CEO being out of town, and I haven't been able to connect. Interviewing here was a complete waste of time.
- In the limited time I have, could you tell me about yourself?
