I reached out to the district manager about a job that was open, and he wanted to meet up that same day. We met at a store and talked for about half an hour. The next day, he wanted me to come back for a more official interview that lasted closer to an hour. We talked about what the job entailed, and he asked me some pretty out-there questions trying to catch me off guard. Then, a few days later, I had to go back for an in-service day where I helped manage a shift and shadowed the other managers to see if I could handle the pressure and if I was actually up for the job. A few days after that, they called me with an offer.

The process took 4 days. It started with a phone call to check my interest. The next day, I had a 1:1 with the franchise owner, which didn't seem to lead anywhere. Then, an interview with the director of operations who seemed uninterested. After that, there was an inservice to test skills and work ethic. I got the offer the day after.

The process was pretty simple. First there was a brief phone interview and then a follow up interview was scheduled. The HR person met me at a location that was convienient for me. The interview took about a half an hour, including taking a few brief tests (math and guest service philosophy). They made an offer shortly after the interview was over, for a reasonable and competitive salary.
