The hiring process for the BKK based Flight Attendant role involved three stages: a group discussion, a pairing interview, and a final interview. Everything went smoothly and was well organized. The interviews weren't difficult; they mainly focused on getting to know me and understanding my motivation for joining the company. The entire process spanned about a month, with each stage taking place every other weekend. Candidates were notified of the results for each stage two to three days after the interview.

I already had a feeling this role was meant for internal candidates before the interview. The job ad was only up for two weeks and exclusively on MCF, and it was poorly written, not even mentioning the need for Japanese language skills. The salary was also unusually high. The interview itself was very short, under 20 minutes. This is just enough time to confirm locals aren't suitable and then hire someone they already have in mind, either a Japanese person in Singapore or someone transferred from Japan. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but I'll take it as a learning opportunity. I won't consider this company again, and I won't fly with them either.

Resume screening, then a group discussion where we had to discuss a chosen idea for 20 mins and a representative had to present it. Some candidates passed to the final interview without taking a second interview (the group one). Then there was a group interview (second round), and finally an individual interview (the final one).

It was a really chill interview. First, we had a panel of 4 interviewers with 4 candidates. Everyone took turns introducing themselves and answering two questions, which were the same for everyone. I got an invite for the second interview three days later. A week after that, the second round had 8 interviewers and 5 candidates (my group had 5, but it's usually 4-5 depending on who's there). It was the same format: self-intro and two identical questions for everyone. I got a verbal offer that same night and went for a health check the next week. I waited over a week, then they emailed to invite me for a contract briefing. The briefing felt like we were already hired. We signed contracts on the spot, started visa applications, took photos for crew cards and visas. We had three days to decide if we were taking the offer, with an email to decline by a deadline.
