I was contacted by a headhunting agency for a Designer position at JANUS et Cie Singapore. They arranged the interview, which I was happy to accept given the company's reputation. Upon arrival, a secretary had me fill out a personal details form and re-write my CV, which I found time-consuming. Then, I took a Wonderlic test. Afterward, I had a face-to-face interview with a manager where we discussed the company and my experience. The interview was standard, except they advertised a specific salary but offered less during the interview. I never received any follow-up communication after the interview, not even an acknowledgement or my Wonderlic score, which was unprofessional and showed a bad company culture.

Behavioral Technical Other

I went through four interviews. First, a phone call with the hiring manager to go over the job and my background. Then, I met with the showroom manager, followed by the VP of Sales, and finally the HR Director. Everyone was nice and told me I'd be great for the job. The second interview included a pretty simple personality test. They even mentioned in the third interview that the test results showed I'd be a good fit. Even with all the interviews and positive vibes, I didn't get an offer. I guess it's because they focused a lot on why I left my old jobs instead of what I could do for them. They seemed really particular and it was tough to figure out what they were looking for.

I did a basic skill test, three personality tests and several interviews with high management. It was a very interesting experience and it was not intimidating. The personality test is not meant to catch your flaws but to check if you are qualified to perform the required position. In resume, they want to check if the position opened if for accounting you really like to do accounting and not sales.

Technical Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty thorough, starting with a recruiter call and the VP. Before the actual interview, there's a skills test with multiple-choice questions covering math, reasoning, and sequences, plus a two-part personality quiz to figure out how best to manage you and how you'd fit with the team. Even though it takes a lot of time and they're not very flexible with scheduling, it wasn't intimidating. Everyone was really nice, though.
