Janssen General Intern Interview Questions
& Process

It was a long process. Randstad was involved. About two weeks after I applied, Randstad called to check basic info. Two weeks after that, I got an email from Randstad with the same questions. A week later, Janssen reached out for an interview that was scheduled for a few weeks down the line, about two months after my initial application. The interview itself was pretty good, and the interviewers were nice and friendly. I never got any feedback, and I guess the role wasn't a good fit in the end because the internship description wasn't super clear, or maybe I misunderstood it. I'd be fine applying for other roles that suit me better, though.

So, I had two rounds of interviews for the intern position. The first interview was with a manager from the global market access team, and the second one was with another manager from the same team. The questions really depend on what the interviewers are focused on. The first interviewer was into research, so I got research-related questions. The second interviewer was more into the market side of things, so I got more behavioral questions. They used Livestream for both interviews, all the way to the end. It took them about 3 weeks to get back to me after the interviews. I sent them an email and they let me know that the final selections had been made.

I found the opening online and applied a few days before the career fair, then I talked to someone at the company's booth at the fair. The next day, they offered me an in-person HR interview right there at the fair (though I'm not sure if that was an option for folks who hadn't applied online yet). That first interview was pretty typical, covering standard HR stuff along with some deeper dives into my past experiences. About a week after that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. I got the offer over the phone less than a week following that. Talking with the hiring manager was really nice; they were very upfront about what the job actually involves.
