First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Janssen.
Senior Director
First, I met the hiring manager. Then, I met with key stakeholders, including the head of the therapeutic area, members of the cross-functional team, and a business partner from HR. There was also a chance for me to give a presentation.
- How do you handle organizational conflicts?
Director
The people involved were interesting, and the overall process took a while. Communication regarding the process was pretty sparse. The interviews themselves were put together well. However, they used some outside contractors for HR tasks, and these folks didn't seem to know the company's procedures very well, so they couldn't answer much.
- Can you tell me about how you lead people and groups?
Director
It was a pretty typical interview process. Started with a screener with the hiring manager. After that, I had individual chats with a bunch of the team members. To finish it off, I had a final talk with the hiring manager.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with a colleague and how you handled it.
