It was supposed to be an initial screening interview but it ended up being a full interview with the Director of Sales. She was really rude from the start. I did my research but I wasn't ready for an hour-long interview. When I asked about the specific area I'd be responsible for, she didn't have any answers. I responded to her questions based on my experience in this role and she criticized some of my answers.

Behavioral Presentation

It started with a great initial conversation. HR reached out multiple times to set up an interview. Then I spoke with the HR director, who was very professional and friendly. After that, I was passed to the regional manager. She seemed nice on the phone, but she was late for our interview. I answered her questions, and at the end, she asked me to write a follow-up if I had any questions. Before I could even send a follow-up or thank you email, the HR director contacted me saying they would continue their search. They mentioned that B2B or pharmaceutical sales experience wasn't a requirement, but I felt like that's what they were really looking for.
