I got offered an interview about a month after applying. I submitted my availability for the scheduling form, and my preferred times were during regular workdays in CST. However, the recruiter completely ignored my availability and scheduled my interview for 5am local time. I decided to proceed with the interview anyway, hoping to make a good impression. When 5am arrived, no one contacted me. After waiting 1.5 hours, I sent a message and finally received a response that they had forgotten to check their calendar. The recruiter did apologize, but I had other interviews scheduled and declined to reschedule.

I had a really good initial phone screen and then they asked me to fill out my availability for a next step interview. I did this and then didn't hear back from them about their availability and then about a week later I got an automated rejection. I know there's a lot of applicants but it was still pretty disappointing to be told I'm progressing forward, asked for my availability, and then rejected before even getting to proceed to that next step.

The interview process had three rounds: first, a recruiter phone screen, then a 30-minute chat with the manager, and finally a 90-minute technical interview with a panel. During the technical interview, we discussed my background and past projects in depth, and they asked questions to see if I'd be a good culture fit. The latter half of that interview involved live coding. It was all pretty clear, and they were upfront about the process. Everyone I met was really nice.
