First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jamf.
Sales Engineer
First call with the Hiring Manager. Then an interview with the Sales Engineer Director. After that, a panel presentation where I had to present a product review and answer questions. Finally, an HR discussion about the compensation package and other benefits. Pretty standard interview process overall.
- What are your passions.
Sales Engineer
I got an invite to take a CCAT exam. I took it within 24 hrs and knew I wouldn't pass. Then I got an email saying they decided to move on with other candidates. They could have just told me I failed instead of using a generic statement about others. The original invitation email said they thought I was qualified based on my resume. It's disappointing that being bad at exams is a deciding factor for moving forward. I'm a strong contributor in my current role for sales and I coordinate with Jamf often since I see the value for business and schools. I still value the product, but hiding behind an exam lowers my value and makes me less interested in working for Jamf software.
- Offered to take a CCAT, no other questions or conversations were offered.
Sales Engineer
The interview process was smooth and quick, taking place over two weeks with three meetings. I was asked some technical questions, mainly about MDM and networks. I met with HR, the SE manager, and the Sales Manager.
- Can you explain what MDM is and how you would present it?
- Could you describe your approach to introducing MDM?
