It was short but they made sure I understood the details. They asked a lot of 'tell me about a time' questions to really get a sense of how I work, both professionally and personally. It was important to understand why I wanted to work there.

Jamf's interview process is pretty fast. You first talk to a recruiter, then there's a panel interview with the team's managers. After that, you get put into a candidate pool where other managers can look at your interview. If they like you, you have another interview with that manager. Then they still gotta pick you specifically. It felt drawn out with too many people involved in the decision, so I ended up declining the offer.

The interview process has 2 parts. First, a phone interview with either a recruiter or sales manager where they'll ask about you, why you're a good fit, what you know about Jamf, how your experience applies, and if you're okay with remote work/training. If that goes well, you'll have a virtual panel interview over zoom with 3 managers who will ask different questions and have you do a role play where you have to sell an app on your phone to them.

  • Could you role play and sell me an application that is currently on your phone?
