I interviewed with a senior person at the company. She seemed disorganized and unprepared, asking confusing, role-specific questions that felt like a trap. I didn't get a good feeling, and after checking LinkedIn, I noticed some oddities about their hiring and company culture. They still haven't hired anyone for the position.

I interviewed 3 times, twice with the same person and then a third with upper management. It was handled fairly quickly, and I had an overall good feeling about working there. I was offered the job and theirs quite a bit of room to negotiate benefits and salary which is nice but that's probably because working there actually was a nightmare. I would never recommend working at the upper east side store to anyone!!!

Behavioral Other

I had my interview with the district manager (DM) and area manager (AM). I'd already been with the company for over a year and had a great annual review, which they totally ignored. The DM asked about a job I had over 5 years ago and other irrelevant stuff, not about my accomplishments here or if I could manage the store. The AM, who was taking notes, took a call and left 30 minutes in and didn't come back.

Behavioral Other

It was an easy interview process with a great environment on the actual store floor. The management team seemed descent. They asked average questions and provided average answers. They also wanted to know about my out of work life. The process was simple and not intimidating at all.
