Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jamba.
Assistant Manager
It was a super straightforward interview process. I applied online, and they emailed me the same day. They set up an interview for the next day, and I got the job offer that same evening. They asked some really basic questions and discussed potential work locations with me. They mentioned they prefer candidates with food and retail background.
- Can you tell me about your management experience?
- Have you handled inventory before?
- Are you experienced with employee scheduling?
Manager
I got contacted for a manager role at a local store. They rescheduled the interview twice and on the day of the interview, I ended up waiting for over an hour. The interview consisted of standard questions about my experience and what I would do for the company. They also failed to answer my questions.
- Can you tell me about your experience at X location?
- What would you do for our company?
Assistant Manager
I had a one on one interview with both the store manager and the regional manager. They asked me a bunch of questions about how I handle different tasks and how I manage with different working skill sets.
- Can you describe your approach to managing multiple tasks simultaneously?
- How do you adapt to and manage various working skill sets?
