I had a really good time interviewing with Janel Group. The whole thing wrapped up in less than a month and had four parts. It began with a chat about fitting in with the culture, which felt super genuine and nice. Then, I did a technical interview where I tackled a problem that wasn't too tough, but I was glad I prepped and had a small app ready the day before. After that, I had another technical interview with some folks from the team I might join, which was awesome for connecting and getting a feel for the daily tasks. Lastly, I talked with the President, which was also a really positive experience. All in all, even though there were a few steps, it felt smooth, organized, and honestly human the whole way. So glad I took the offer.

Behavioral Technical

I had a really bad time with Jahnel Group's hiring. They kept saying they're a "people-first" company, but my experience didn't show that at all. After the first of four stages, I asked the recruiter about the next steps, like scheduling the technical test. Instead of being upfront, they were vague, and I felt like they had already decided against me. A few days later, I got a generic rejection with no reason. I tried to get feedback to help me improve by contacting HR and the recruiter, but I was ignored. Since they claim to be "people-centric," I expected better communication, especially since I put effort into the process. The lack of transparency, feedback, and communication was disappointing and unprofessional. It makes me wonder how they treat their actual employees.

I got hired by Jahnel Group by Emily Smith and it was a great experience. She really gets the tech scene in Latin America. She explained the job and the company clearly, answered everything, and helped me out a lot. It didn't feel like just a business deal; she really wanted to make sure it was a good match for me and the company. Her professionalism, quick replies, and smart insights made a big difference in a process that can be tough. Because of her help, I got a job that fits my skills and what I want to do. The interviews were straightforward, objective, and the communication was open and considerate. Overall, it was a really good time.
