The process was quite lengthy, involving four interview rounds over approximately a month. After interviewing with both the General Manager and the Senior Director of the department, I was informed that a final decision was pending a start date confirmation from the CEO. This typically adds another 3-4 weeks to the timeline.

The interview process involved multiple interviews with three different department heads. They wanted to ask about my previous experience and how it would help me to do the job. It was a lengthy process, needing a lot of emails and scheduling for interview videos. The whole thing took weeks to finish and get a decision.

The initial phone chat felt a bit odd; the recruiter asked if I was from a city I'd never lived in, which was strange because someone with my name was. But the in-person meeting was nice, they made me feel comfy. It was intense though, felt more like an interrogation than an interview at times. The recruiter was straight up about the job, like sometimes you'd have to stay late, 6 or 7 PM, or other times you couldn't leave early even if others did because you won something. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't get the job since my family is way more important than any job.
