You'll go to a class that the casino pays for, which is unusual because most casinos make you pay for your education. It might feel inconvenient and take a while, but if you're really into this, I'd say stick with it and finish the class. The money is really good, mostly from tips. Make sure you pay attention and don't be shy about taking notes or asking questions because once you're on the floor, you're pretty much on your own, though your teammates can help when you need it. It's pretty embarrassing when you're new and have to call your supervisor over every five minutes, so try to be confident. Guests will definitely try to cheat you and argue they are right. This is why you really need to pay attention in class. They'll teach you the procedures and company policies you need to follow. There are also state regulations you'll learn about. Honestly, it's not that difficult. You don't need to be a math whiz; it becomes a routine and you train your brain to do the same tasks repeatedly.

It was a three part interview. First, I had an initial interview over the phone. Then, the second interview was in person with 30 other applicants for all different jobs in the casino. They wanted to find outgoing people and see how well you could perform in a group setting. They had us play games, do impressions, sing, or dance. Once you passed the second interview, they called you in for a one on one with a manager in the department you were applying for.
