I went through 4 rounds of interviews with J2, who use Ghost Jobs for their candidate pipeline. Turns out they weren't actively hiring for the role, even though they had multiple job postings up. They told me I'd get an offer once a new contract was available, but I never heard back from them.

The process had a bunch of phone interviews, all of them an hour or more. The questions were pretty much the same in each one. It might have been better if they combined some calls. After the phone interviews, I had to make a video talking about my past work. Then, it was just silence, no feedback or anything, but I guess I didn't get the job.

I talked to a really great and responsive recruiter who asked some questions and explained the whole process upfront. Then, I spoke with three other people who were all exceptionally professional, informative, and enthusiastic. Talking with all three was an insanely good experience because it's not often that an interviewer, let alone three, is so genuinely engrossed and knowledgeable about both their company and industry. I left the process with a good feeling that they're deeply committed to their culture, company, and people. Unfortunately, I had already accepted an offer the morning of the day I got a call regarding their offer: my declination was simply a matter of timing.
