Community Manager
It was definitely the most thorough interview process I've ever had, but I made it through! There were 4 official interviews and 1 casual meeting where I met the current Assistant Manager and toured the property I would be overseeing. The interviews were great; I don't normally like talking about myself, but the interviewers made it super easy and comfortable for me! It was also great to meet the COO during the process, showing that the executive team really cares about who they hire to represent the company. I'm only rating the difficulty as difficult due to the amount of interviews and the time it took.
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
Leasing Specialist
After applying online, I was contacted by a recruiter the next day for a phone screen because I had previously lived at a JCH property. Then I interviewed with a Community Manager who didn't think I was the right fit for their team, but they did set me up with another Community Manager where the fit was much better. From there, I had a Zoom interview with the Regional Manager, followed by a Zoom interview with the top two executives. The executives were very welcoming, and I was offered the position the very next day!
- Tell me about a time that you have done something funny and embarrassing at work.
Maintenance Technician
The interview process was efficient, professional, and friendly. It was surprising to see how many people had returned to the company after trying other opportunities, which suggests they are doing many things right.
