Applications Specialist
I put in my application online and it took about 24 days to get my first call back. That first call was pretty quick, mostly just asking if I was okay with a drug screen, explaining a bit about the job to see if I was still interested, and asking about my current role. They then set up a phone interview for 2 days later, which was pretty much the same questions. About 4 days after that, I came in for an on-site interview. The whole process felt really relaxed and welcoming. It was in a pretty large room with two interviewers who were super nice and made me feel at ease. I had my interview on a Thursday, and by the following Monday, they called with an offer. It was a really good experience overall.
- Why are you a suitable candidate for JB Hunt?
Onboarding Specialist
After you get past the application process you will set up a time for a phone interview. The phone interview had the same questions as the application online when first applying to the job as well as a couple more general questions. Next step is an in person interview. Basic questions again, questions about experience, questions on how you would handle certain situations and then of course your time to ask them questions. Overall, really easy process. They want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Billing Specialist
It was pretty easy, with 3 interviewers. They didn't seem very engaged, like they'd already made a decision.
- How do you manage conflict?
