I applied online and about a week later I got a call from Zulma in Arkansas who works for the recruiting department at the company. She was very nice and told me a lot about the position and the company. Next was a 30ish minute phone interview. She then referred me to the site where I'd potentially be working and I interviewed with someone there. The interview was overall easy and it seemed more like a conversation than an interview. He said someone will get back to me in a week with the decision. However, more than two weeks went by and I contacted the Recruiting department inquiring about whether a decision has been made. Cassie got back to me and said a decision has not been made yet and they'll let me know once they decide. It's been a month and a half and still nothing. Following these experiences, I no longer seek to pursue a career with JB Hunt as I strongly believe them to be extremely unprofessional.

I'm ex-military and I went through three interviews for an Operations Manager position. The first interview was with two Operations Managers from Dallas. They asked typical questions like why I'd be a good fit, why I wouldn't be, and about my weaknesses. The second interview was with a Regional Manager who was pretty quiet, making me do most of the talking. I thought I messed that one up, but I was surprised to get a call later for another interview with a local Operations Manager at a DCS account site. This manager asked similar questions but also inquired about my Excel skills and multitasking ability. I received an offer a week later for an Operations Manager role, not the trainee position. The offer included a background check and hair follicle drug test within 48 hours, a $50K starting salary, potential quarterly bonuses up to $1-2K, two weeks vacation and two personal days after a year, a 401K match up to 6% after a year, and medical insurance after 90 days. The benefits package isn't great, but it's a job.

I went through the interview process for an Operations Manager role within JB Hunt's Dedicated Contract Services division. It was a good experience overall, and I would have taken the job, but I didn't realize beforehand that it required relocating to another state. The process included a phone interview, an in-person interview at the facility with a regional manager, and then a final interview with a head regional manager. I enjoyed the process, and they were accommodating to my current work schedule, which made it quite convenient.
