First, you'll apply on the J.B. Hunt Careers website or through your university's portal like Handshake. If they like your application, a recruiter will call you for a 15-30 minute phone interview. If you make it past that, you'll get invited to either a virtual or in-person interview with a hiring manager or a panel.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process included three virtual interviews followed by an on-site interview. While the interviews themselves were not particularly difficult, the lack of professionalism and communication made the process frustrating. Communication was minimal, even when following up with the recruiter about my application status or responding to their emails regarding availability. Based on this experience, I would not recommend applying for roles at J.B. Hunt’s Indianapolis location.

The process was pretty straightforward. It began with a phone call and then moved to a video chat via Teams. They asked me about my motivations for wanting to join the company and other general personal questions. The whole thing took about a month from when I interviewed to when I got the offer.
