Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport.
Transportation Manager
The interview process was pretty good, with 3 interviews total. First was a recruiter call, then a team interview, and the last one was with the director. They offered me the job a couple days later, and I accepted. Overall, a good experience with the company.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
Transportation Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward, but honestly, all the drama that comes with this job afterwards isn't worth it. Some people here show up to work drunk. They asked really basic questions, and it seems like you could get this job regardless of your past experience.
- Could you describe your approach to management?
Transportation Manager
You start as a manager trainee, and when you're ready for a promotion, you'll get it. Typically, you can expect to be promoted within 3-8 months. This really depends on how much effort you put in. If you don't put in the work, they won't invest in you.
- Are you open to working non-traditional hours?
