First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Izenda.
Director of Sales
I went through multiple interviews with different team members from various parts of the company. It was good because they shared a lot about where the company is headed and what's important to them organizationally. The last step involved giving a presentation to some of the senior leaders.
- Can you describe a complex deal you handled in the past?
Sales Engineer
A recruiter reached out about the role. I then spoke with the VP of Sales and a Solutions Architect. I had a brief phone call with the VP, followed by another phone interview with both the VP and Solutions Architect. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview that lasted over 3 hours and involved meeting with 5 different people. Finally, I gave a demo of a product I was working on from home via GoToMeeting. The entire process took about two weeks.
- What did you dislike most about your previous or current job?
- What's prompting your desire to switch jobs?
- Is there a question you believe I should have asked that I didn't?
Sales Associate
You first go through a temp agency. Then you have an interview with the Sales Manager alongside other prospects. After that, it gets narrowed down, and you get called for the final interview if you're chosen. You meet with the Sales Manager again, then the CEO, and then you're in. Hopefully you succeed.
- In given scenarios, what actions would you take differently?
- How would you handle specific obstacles you encounter?
Copywriter
The hiring process started with a phone interview, then I had to complete a writing assignment. After that, there was an in-person interview, followed by a brief call with the CEO. All of this really helped me understand the role better. I got an offer less than a week after finishing the interviews.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
