It started with a screener phone call, then a Zoom interview with two different teams back to back. After that, there was an in-person presentation to one person with two others joining via Zoom. The VP of CS mentioned that the hybrid model might change to requiring 4- or 5-days in the office per week. Employees are required to be in the office, but upper management is not. This felt like a Red Flag.

A recruiter from IXL reached out to me. Our first step was a phone interview. We both quickly realized I was overqualified for the role, and that 'Account Rep' might be a more fitting title than the misleading 'Account Manager'. I ended up asking more questions than the interviewer, possibly because of my extensive educational background and my curiosity about how IXL compares to other online learning tools I've encountered.

Behavioral Presentation

There were multiple interview rounds. The final round involved an in-person presentation. The first round was a recruiter call, followed by virtual interviews with managers. Then, there was an in-person interview with managers and the VP at their really nice office in Raleigh. It's important to study and learn as much as possible about IXL.
