First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IW Group.
Sales Manager
There were 3 interviews, including an HR interview, then one with the Operational Manager, and finally one with two people from the sales and operational management. The interviews went well, but I wasn't selected because my salary expectations were too high for their pay scale.

Community Associate
The interview was supposed to be with the recruiter and the manager, but the manager was busy so it didn't happen. The recruiter was really friendly, and since the manager wasn't there, it only lasted about 25 minutes. They took almost two months to give me an answer.

Account Supervisor
The process took 3 rounds and spanned about 2 months or 8.5 weeks. First was a 30-minute 1v1 HR interview, which was a standard chat. Then, there was a 3v1 Group Leadership interview, also 30 minutes. This felt awkward; there wasn't much time for conversation or rapport, and the leadership/hiring manager were quiet. Each person asked about one question, covering strategy, creative, and account management. The last round was a 3v1 Individual assessment/project, up to 1 hour. This was a tough step for several reasons. The task covered all agency departments, but they wanted one person to deliver it all in a week, including strategy, budget, psychographics, demographics, rationale, creative concepting, timing, and template design. Also, the prompt wasn't fully clear on expectations, like prioritizing a target segment. They mentioned wanting Asian targets since it's an Asian-focused agency, but this wasn't in the initial ask. For creative concepting, they needed more specific brand examples; 'special collabs with select sneaker and fashion brands' could mean very different brands like Nike, Channel, Supreme, or even Sketchers, each requiring a different strategy. In my experience, this kind of material is usually developed over weeks with checkpoints and feedback, not all in one deck presented in under 50 minutes. This part took about 20-30 hours of work and roughly $2-3k of personal investment. It took about 5 weeks to get a response after this step.
- Can you share some information about yourself?
Head of Transformation
Started with a video screen with the recruiter. Then had a F2F interview with the hiring manager. After that, iwg requested written feedback + synthesis of my interview. A case presentation was requested + submitted. Then interviewed with 1 C-suite. Got a tentative offer and went into negotiations, but ultimately did not accept.
