The interview process was quite relaxed. The interviewer was very friendly. The demo class was around 10 minutes short. I was given 3 words with a short definition and I had to explain that further to the student (acted by my interviewer too). I had to elaborate it using more simple words and gave simple examples for more comprehension.

I was emailed by a recruiter from South Africa, and after they got my CV, I was offered a Skype interview the next day. The interviewer was responsive and told me about the process. I was ready on time, but the interviewer was 35 minutes late, though it was worth the wait. They messaged me to check if I was ready and apologized for the delay before our Skype (Voice) interview. I found her very professional and approachable. She asked about my background, education, and why I want to teach English online. She said I met all their requirements and seemed like a good fit. She let me ask questions and then asked if I could do a 2-hour live training session the next evening. I agreed, attended the training, and am now in the onboarding phase. I found the interview difficulty 'easy', which is subjective. Enthusiasm is key in teaching English as a foreign language. Online teaching isn't just an easy way to make money; it has challenges, but the rewards are great if you care about the students. I see many negative reviews about this company, especially the pay. So far, iTutorgroup has been clear about expectations. Lessons are prepared. The work is home-based and flexible, saving money on commuting, lunches, work clothes, and avoiding office parties or politics. After 15 years of traditional teaching, I'm ready for this new role.

After many IT issues, I was finally interviewed by MPS. The staff here are rude and abrupt. I genuinely felt they wanted me to fail. The Recruiter did not show her face at times, the sound was muted at times and was going off a lot, therefore, I was unable to hear what she was saying during her demo. I was given 5 mins to prepare, she said we'll concentrate on blue and yellow so you can imagine my surprise when the yellow slide was removed. Also, for apparently acting as a low-level student she rapidly answered questions I asked and allowed no time to process this information. It was awkward and unprofessional, I doubt very much if I will hear back.
