I applied online and got a call from a recruiter about a week later. She asked some basic questions, then sent over some electronic tests for personality, skills, and problem solving. After I finished those, I was invited in for interviews. I met one-on-one with the Chief Operations Officer, then with the VPs of Career Services and Recruitment. Lastly, I had a one-on-one meeting with the Senior VP of Operations. Each of these meetings lasted between half an hour and an hour. About a week after that, the recruiter set up a half-hour meeting with the CEO. Later that day, I got a call offering me the job. The whole experience was great; everyone was professional and friendly. They seemed more interested in selling me on the job than I was on them. Initially, I was interested in ITT because of the role and the company's reputation, but after interviewing, I really wanted to work there because the people were amazing, and it felt like the right team for me.

It was a good experience with a professional team. Speaking and meeting with them was enjoyable. The phone interview involved standard questions about my background. The in-person interview provided detailed information about the company and the position. They asked questions about my experience in relation to the role. It was very straightforward with no mind games.

The hiring process started with a phone call. After that, I had a one-on-one with the regional director. Then came two online assessments, about 90 minutes each. This was followed by a nearly two-hour phone call with a psychologist. Next, I went to the corporate HQ in Indianapolis for meetings with five different people, including the CEO. The atmosphere at HQ was a bit unusual, with everyone in cubicles and very quiet. The 'ITT Culture' was emphasized, with a message that there was no room for 'thinking outside the box.' Despite having over 20 years of management and education experience and being told I was the top choice by the regional manager, I didn't hear back for over two months after the onsite. Finally, I received a template email stating they were considering other candidates. My advice is to be cautious, get everything in writing, and be aware of the company's high turnover, low pay, weak benefits, and strange corporate management.

I got contacted pretty fast after applying to set up a phone interview. It went well, the person was nice and it was professional but relaxed. She mentioned something about a group interview when I come in for my first in-person one. She said she'd let me know by the end of the week about when that would be, but I never heard back.
