& Process

I went through about 3 interview rounds with various team members. Most of the legal team members are American and handle different tasks. What's interesting is the apparent lack of communication between the rest of the organization and the legal team. When I asked some questions, even about what happens next, some said they didn't know. This isn't totally unusual, but I suspect the head of Legal, who is Japanese, might not communicate as much or as effectively with the team, which could make for an interesting work environment. I never heard back after the final round.

It was a really simple interview process. First, there was a phone interview, and then a face-to-face meeting. The in-person interview involved meeting with a senior manager and someone from HR, followed by an associate and the head of HR. There weren't any super difficult technical questions. All in all, it was a pretty easy interview and a good internship experience. They even give you the offer on the spot, so it's easy to accept.

The interview process started with a nice, hour-long phone screen. About a month after that, I had two video interviews back-to-back with four HR people: one MD, two managers, and an associate. It turned out that everyone who interviewed me was someone I had worked with closely during my internship.

There were a bunch of interviews, starting with a video call and then a final in-person meeting. You really gotta prep beforehand to make a good impression.
