We kicked off with a role-playing exercise, and then we went over past experiences that are relevant to the current role. It was a really positive experience overall; the interviewers were professional and friendly, making me feel at ease.

The first call was with someone from recruiting. They talked about the job, pay, and benefits. Then, we went over my resume and past jobs. I could talk about my experience as much as I wanted. The recruiter then told me what to expect next and that I'd get an invite for a Teams meeting with the hiring managers.

Behavioral Other

Applied online, had a phone interview, then was asked to come in for a face-to-face. I got an application and questionnaire to fill out before the interview with instructions to only sign it during the interview. I met with two people in a somewhat industrial office condo, with only a receptionist and the two interviewers present. We discussed the position and a typical day. The next step would be a day-long ride-along before any offer, which I found unusual. I was also told that two weeks after being hired, I'd be sent for two weeks of training in Dallas, even though the company is based in NC. They said they were interviewing others and would let me know. I sent thank you notes and followed up via email two weeks later, but got no response.
