First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Iterable.
Consultant
The recruiter was out of office and got defensive. They seemed annoyed when I asked about benefits and how the company handles tough times. It didn't feel like a good culture fit, and I didn't get an offer.

I had 4 chats with the team, and then gave a presentation to a panel on how Iterable's API works. After that, we had a Q&A where they asked about the API and what questions customers might have.
- Can you share a significant challenge you faced in a previous role?
- Describe your understanding of how Iterable's API functions.
- What kind of inquiries would customers typically have regarding the API?
Solutions Consultant
I had a first interview that seemed to go well, and I answered everything asked professionally. At the end, I was told I'd be contacted the next week to schedule a second interview with the manager. The following week, I got an email saying they were going in a different direction. While they can do that, I found it unprofessional to be told there was another interview and then have that not happen. If they had said they would discuss my fit with the manager and then let me know, that would be fine, as that's usually how it works. This might be a one-off, but based on other reviews and ex-employees, it seems like this might be their standard practice. Be aware that they might say one thing during interviews and then change their minds.
- Can you tell me about your current job?
