Software Engineer
The interview process in Eastern Europe was pretty standard, no issues with it. First, there was an HR interview focusing on soft skills in English. Then, a technical interview that covered general topics like Web 2.0, JavaScript, and React, plus a live coding session.
- Can you tell me about data types and structures in JavaScript, as well as design patterns and other basic JavaScript concepts?
- What are your thoughts on Web 2.0, and can you discuss JavaScript and React?
- Let's do some live coding.

So, the hiring process here is pretty involved, we do it in stages, you know, to make sure we get the right people. It usually kicks off with, like, writing out the job description, then getting it posted. After that, we schedule interviews, do some initial ones, then the main in-person ones, and then we follow up with everyone and decide who to hire.
- So, about the interview process itself, it's multi-stage for hiring new people, right? Like, what are the typical steps involved in the interview process?
- The interview process typically includes writing a job description, posting a job, scheduling interviews, conducting preliminary interviews, conducting in-person interviews, following up with candidates, and making a hire. Is that accurate?

- Can you tell me about your experience?

- Explain React hooks.
