The recruiter reached out and shared the job details. The job was very challenging and I was very interested. The recruiter forwarded my profile to the company. First, I had a phone interview and then I was called for a 1:1 interview with the Delivery Head. I was selected and offered a position in New York, but I declined because my family is based out of Dallas.

A company recruiter contacted me for an initial call. During this call, they evaluated my career history and seemed to judge it as unstable due to my previous roles of 2 and 3 years at two different companies. It was surprising because the interviewer themselves has only been with the company for a few months and has a work history of never staying longer than 1.5 years at any previous job. The company is looking for candidates who are committed to staying for at least 10-15 years. If you are not looking for long-term stability, it's advised not to apply. They prioritize candidates who have a stable career path. If you left your previous job for career growth opportunities, this company might not be the right fit, and they prefer you don't waste their time.

I applied online and then waited for a couple weeks. They eventually got back to me for an interview, which I felt went pretty well. After a second round, I was waiting for some news, but instead of an offer, I received a rejection email.
