First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IT By Design.
Python Developer
I applied for this job through nukari. There were three rounds in total. The first was a technical interview. The second was also technical, with the manager. The final round was with HR and the manager.
- Could you tell me about your knowledge of data structures and algorithms?
Senior Software Engineer
The first step was a communication round which I felt went well. However, a week later I got a rejection email. I'm not sure what they were looking for in candidates for this role or if it was a salary issue.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain how you keep your skills current?
- Please take a moment to think and then speak for two minutes on the topic of women empowerment.
Systems Administrator
It was moderate. They asked questions about AD, BSODs, IP configuration, and what to do when the internet isn't working, plus MS 365 stuff like PST and OST files and how to create a file. The first round was just a communication round, which went well.
- Can you tell me about Active Directory?
- Describe how you would reset a user's password.
- What is a BSOD and how do you troubleshoot it?
IT Lead
The interview process was not well-structured and candidates were treated as if they had nothing better to do. I interviewed for an IT Lead position. It took them three weeks to finish the entire process. After several rounds, the country head discussed with me. Once he approved, HR told me the CEO also wanted to interview me since he made the final decision. The CEO's interview was rescheduled three times, and I had to wait an hour past the scheduled time. He asked the same questions that were asked before. Once he agreed, HR called for a package discussion. She also asked me interview questions before discussing the package. We agreed on an amount, but I never received an offer letter, and HR didn't follow up to see what happened. I contacted ex-employees and current employees who confirmed that the company is not a good place to join unless you hate yourself and want the CEO to directly manage your leaves and other things. I think I was fortunate to not join this company.
