First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IT Authorities.
Executive
It was very personal with keen interest in getting to really know their candidates. A genuine group that seems to truly care about people. The process was enjoyable on the candidate side just meeting many great people that were really happy in their jobs.
- They asked many job related questions and as many questions just trying to get to know me.
- Being a great culture fit seems to be important to them.
Several Roles
It started with a general call to check basic info, interest, and availability. Then, I had interviews with senior managers. The first manager reviewed my experience and the job duties. After that, the CIO gave me a very detailed technical interview. The last interview was with one of the CEOs, where we confirmed my interest and talked about salary.
- How will your previous job experiences contribute to your success in this position?
Senior Systems Engineer
They asked a few technical questions. Some I knew, some I didn't know but have done before. They seem custom in interviewing men for this position. Bringing a woman into this role would be beneficial for the company overall. They were not experienced in interviewing technical women. It's a different process. This leads me to believe they haven't hired many women for engineering positions. I felt completely judged for being a woman. Hoping they become more diverse and accepting of women in tech in general.
- How would you migrate on AD domain controller to a new domain controller? What processes would you take?
Customer Success Executive
The interview process was thorough but fair, involving 3 levels of interviews. The people I met were positive and seemed like they could help me advance my career. It sounds like a challenging role focused on customers.
- What makes you believe IT Authorities is a suitable company for you?
