First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Isuzu.
Software Engineer
I had an HR call first, then an on-site interview with the manager. We talked about general behavior questions and my past projects, and then I was given a coding problem. It was an easy sorting problem.
- Can you tell me about your experience on previous projects?
- Could you solve this sorting problem?
Operations Development Program
The interview was about an hour long, mostly discussing work, studies, thesis, and organizational aspects. It was a very casual 'getting to know you' type of meeting, with one other manager present who didn't ask anything.
- Can you tell me about your greatest accomplishment and the steps you took to achieve it?
FP&A Analyst
The interview process involved two rounds. Round 1 was an interview with the team. Round 2 included an interview with the team and the general manager, and also a written accounting test. The HR and interviewers were unprofessional and offered a lower salary than I expected. The offer was so low that even with bonuses, the monthly salary was equal to my minimum expected base salary. If they didn't have the budget, they shouldn't have called me for so many rounds. Even after I rejected the offer, the HR was rude and said that during Covid19, I wouldn't find a better-paying job than my last one.
- Tell me about yourself
- Can you walk me through your previous work experiences?
- What value do you believe you can bring to our team?
Finance
The interview process includes a first round with general and technical questions, faced by a panel of 3 people. The second round consists of behavioral questions with senior HR and the hiring manager. You should dress professionally for this. The questions are generally easy to answer, with a strong emphasis on presentation skills.
- Can you tell us about yourself, including your qualifications and experiences?
