Ground Support
The interview process was straightforward and consisted of basic questions. However, once it was discovered I was not Israeli, the tone shifted significantly, and I suspected I wouldn't pass the first round.
- Could you handle managing several projects simultaneously?
Data Scientist/ML Engineer
It was a one hour interview with two interviewers. It started with some standard questions like 'tell me about yourself' and 'what are you looking for'. Then they asked about my last position. Finally, there was a technical question that wasn't too difficult.
- Could you explain precision and recall and their respective trade-offs?
- What's the difference between ROC curve and PR curve?
Officer
They asked about projects I've led or participated in, asked about my diligence, and initiative. Very demanding conditions. need to pass first filtering, then an interview, then another filtering process.
- Can you describe a project that you have led?
- Tell me about a project you were a part of.
- How do you demonstrate diligence and initiative?
Soldier
I had a good interview experience at IDC. The process was organized, and the team was professional. I applied online, and the recruiter called me for a phone screen within a week. The recruiter was nice and told me about the role and IDC's culture. We talked about my background, skills, and experience for the job. It was a good start with clear expectations. Then, there was a technical interview with coding questions about [specific technology, e.g., Python, algorithms, data structures, etc.] and some problem-solving. The interviewer was patient and helped when needed. The questions were okay hard but fair, checking problem-solving and coding skills.
- What are your thoughts on coding questions related to [specific technology, e.g., Python, algorithms, data structures, etc.]?
- Can you describe your approach to problem-solving tasks?
