I applied through the campus job website and had an interview on campus. They asked the basic questions like what do you know about the company, why do you want to work here, and what could you contribute. I don't know if it was simply the interviewers or the culture of the company, but I got such a weird vibe from the two people interviewing me. Also, the fact that there were two people in a first-round interview was a little much considering the kind of questions they were asking. I didn't get an offer (not surprising), but what was surprising was the extremely simple and automatic email sent informing me of that.

So I first chatted with them at a career fair on campus, and then had an on-campus interview. The night before there was a meet-n-greet at a cool local pub, which was super chill. Everyone there was really nice and happy to answer questions about the next day's interview or the company in general. The actual on-campus interview was quick, about 30 minutes, and the questions were pretty standard, though they might throw in a quirky one. The second round was at their main office in Dallas. It was a pretty intense day where you get to see the office, your potential workspace, and even meet the CEO. This round had three parts: quick one-on-one chats, presentations, and a Q&A with current new hires. Similar to the first round, there was a reception the night before to see the office and mingle with employees informally before the main interviews. The whole process felt a bit like fraternity rush – super fast, tiring, but exciting. You meet a lot of people and have to stay sharp. Make sure to ask good questions about things like travel, moving to Dallas, potential projects, or job challenges. They want to see you're excited and engaged, not just smart and capable, but also a fun person who would mesh with the company vibe.

I applied via the career services website and heard back for an interview about two weeks later. The interview itself was brief, lasting around 10-15 minutes on campus. They primarily asked about my personal experiences and relevant work. I received an email three days post-interview with feedback on my performance. The interviewers were quite friendly and kind. Unfortunately, I didn't receive an offer in the end.
