The hiring process took about two weeks. It started with a questionnaire after I applied. Then, I had a face-to-face meeting with the CEO. If that went well, the final interview was with my direct manager, the VP of Sales. After that, I got the offer.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The process started with a brief recruiter call which was a quick pre-screening. Then, there was an in-person HR interview that was pretty standard, mostly asking about myself and hypothetical situations. Following that, I had a conversational interview with the hiring manager. They seem to think they operate fast, but the timelines suggested otherwise. I was asked to think about how I'd generate leads and enhance their marketing efforts. Unfortunately, my responses didn't meet their expectations, and I was quickly rejected. My sense is they're looking for someone to step up into a manager role with a promotion and raise, not necessarily an experienced director looking for a lateral move or a pay cut. A few things to note: their salaries are on the lower side since they're a private company, and they seem to favor younger staff, despite older senior managers. The office environment is typical for a private company, with a business casual dress code.
