First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Isetan.
Sales Assistant
The interview process was straightforward, with typical questions like asking me to introduce myself, what my salary expectations are, and if I can relocate. They also asked about my current location and how I would handle customer issues, presenting a situation for me to solve.
- What is your desired salary?
Sales Associate
We started by going through your resume, then talked about your past retail/hospitality working experience. We discussed your interest in/ understanding of the Company, and your availability per week. Then, I shared the job description, job etiquette, reporting line, and working hours. Finally, you had a chance to ask questions for the interviewer.
- Do you have prior experience in a similar role?
Merchandising Support
The whole interview process took 2.5 hrs which I had not been informed beforehand (was told it could take 1hr). I was not aware of a math test and there were other interviewees in the same time slot. Did not expect such a long waiting time for a support position and it would be polite to inform interviewees in advance.
- When can you start?
Merchandiser
It was pretty laid back and the questions were easy to handle, with a small assignment needed before the interview. There was just one interview round with the hiring manager and HR. They made sure to look over the candidate's resume and come up with related questions.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
