First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ISAT Total Support.
Project Engineer
I went to their office for an in-person interview. A panel of 3 people asked me questions. Afterwards they ghosted, I called their office but wasn't unable to connect with the recruiter who originally set up the interview, or any of the interviewers.
- What is accountability to you?
Pipe Stress Engineer
It was a pretty standard interview process. The first interview was with the Director of Operations. We reviewed my resume and discussed my previous jobs. He also asked me what kind of work I was looking for. The second interview was with the manager of the Pipe Stress team, and it was similar. We went over my resume, and there weren't really any technical questions.
- Tell me about your resume.
- Can you tell me about your work history?
- What kind of roles are you interested in?
Structural Engineer
I applied online and the first interview was a phone screen with HR. Then I had three interviews with senior staff members where they asked about my past experience. This was during the pandemic and I had to go to their Fremont, CA office. They said they were expanding and had a lot of work, but I waited over 6 weeks with no response. I followed up with the Hiring Manager and found out they actually had no work. They lied about having work. They also asked about their Seattle office. I was ghosted when I asked about further interviews. The firm seems to interview candidates for fake jobs and doesn't seem to care about them, especially with the pandemic. I never heard back from the hiring manager.
- What is your motivation for interviewing with us?
- Could you discuss your previous work experience?
- What are your thoughts on our Seattle office?
Executive Assistant
I got there and they asked me some normal stuff about when I could start and what I'd be doing. First hint something was off: they told me it was a male dominated field and I'd see really private "expense reports." They wanted to know how good I was at keeping secrets. Second hint: they mentioned the women there were mean and that gossip and fighting was normal. Third hint: they asked if I minded "serving" the guys. They seemed to like me but I felt gross after. I knew it wasn't the right fit. They called to set up another interview and I said I wasn't available anymore. A week later they emailed to say I didn't get picked to move forward. Another week after that, they called and offered me the job with a start date. I said no thanks. Fourth hint: NO corporate structure at all!
