It was a 45-minute interview, pretty much just one conversation. They wanted to see if I was interested in the job and in public service. They asked about my past work and how my education would apply. The whole process, from interviewing to getting the offer, took about a month.

The interview process started with an On Campus Interview (OCI), which involved two interviewers from the local office. This was followed by a callback interview with the local AAC. The OCI lasted about 15 minutes, and the callback was around 30 minutes.
- What sparked your interest in pursuing a career in tax law?

I applied online through USA Job's website and then got an email from the hiring representative. They wanted to set up a panel interview over Zoom. So I had a panel interview with 7 people. Each person on the panel asked me questions about something specific they were responsible for measuring.
