Quality Assurance Engineer
I applied through LinkedIn and received a callback the next day. After a brief chat, we set up an interview. The interview went well with a few questions about the role and some thought-provoking questions. They also brought in another manager, so I ended up completing the entire process in a single day.
- Can you tell me about the methodologies you know?
- Describe how you would approach testing in certain scenarios.
QA Engineer
I had a quick HR chat first, then I did a one hour skills test. After that, I had a technical interview with the QA Lead. The QA Lead was great, they were super respectful, gave me useful feedback, and we had a really easy conversation.
- What is your approach if a bug slips through?
- How do you handle situations where you anticipate missing a deadline for a task?
- Could you draft a test plan for the provided application?
QA Engineer
Had a one on one with the manager of the team, it was very chill, nice attitude and overall a very good impression. I felt respected and even got some good tips about how it was going.
- In your opinion, how can the quality of a team be measured?
- What metrics or methods would you use to assess the quality of a product?
