Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ironSource.
Full Stack Engineer
The interview process started with a phone call from HR, who was quite friendly and asked about my background. Then, I had a second interview with the team lead. This part involved some tough technical questions.
- Questions about algorithms
- Questions about design patterns
Full Stack Developer
It was a quick process with two technical interviews and one personal interview. The interviewers were nice and the questions were interesting. The hr interview was mostly about my cv and my personality.
- Tell me about your experience with databases and system design.
Full Stack Software Engineer
It began with a brief phone chat with the technical recruiter. Then, there was a coding home assignment, which wasn't too challenging, but the key was to write it cleanly and include tests. After that, I was invited to a technical interview with the team leader and a team member. We talked generally about my experience for about 30 minutes, and then I was given a coding exercise in my preferred programming language.
- The exercise involves implementing two provided REST API calls.
