The interview experience was super chill and organized, a total of 3 steps. First, they did an intro and checked my basic qualifications. Then, a job-specific assessment which was actually pretty fun! For this part, I was on Zoom with the hiring director and the digital marketing director. We went over some ad data, SEO stuff, how to optimize landing pages, and I answered some multiple choice questions. The hiring director was really cool, super clear and responsive, and answered all my questions.

Had a Zoom interview to talk about my background, the team, and what the day-to-day is like. Sometime during the interview, the interviewer couldn't hear me or their connection cut out. Instead of telling me through chat or email, I just got an email saying I was rejected a few days later.

So, their interview process had four parts: first, a meeting with the hiring manager to get to know each other. Second, they reviewed my code and tools, asking how I'd optimize a site in different situations. Third, I had an API assignment to complete. Finally, I had a code review of that assignment with the tech director. Everything went well, and the whole thing took about a month until I got the offer. It was a good experience all the way through!

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Went through 2 interviews. The first one was with the hiring manager, where we talked about my background, the role I was looking for, and Ironpaper's general vibe and work. The second interview involved the hiring manager and two other folks. They presented some analytics and website examples, and I shared my thoughts and suggestions. Afterwards, they explained Ironpaper's strategy for handling such situations. It was a really in-depth process, and even though I didn't get the job, I found it super informative and had a positive experience!
