The initial interview was a nice chat about the company, my background, and what I'm looking for. Then came the technical interview. We first talked a bit about the projects I've done, followed by technical questions. These questions often had follow-ups and really probed how well I understood the topics. For the last part, I was shown a diagram of a software development issue and asked to explain my solution. The interviewers were alright, but not super encouraging. I didn't get past this stage.

The interviewer was 7 minutes late and I had to email her to get her attention. She joined without any greetings or apologies and immediately said 'I don't see you.' The interview lacked structure and I couldn't tell what it was about; it was incoherent. She also had many awkward pauses while speaking, putting pressure on me to say something, but she wasn't asking questions. I believe she was a tech sourcer. They also require a test assessment before the interview, so be aware of that.

The hiring process at IRON FX was quite a letdown, mostly because of the hiring manager. They acted unprofessionally, were dismissive, and didn't answer my questions. The interview felt disorganized and I didn't feel valued. After the interview, communication was bad, and I didn't get any updates even though I followed up. It really makes you wonder about the company's culture and how they treat people they might hire.

After sending my CV, I got a call from HR to check my experience with .NET Core, Kafka, etc. Then I got an email with a technical interview invite and an application form to sign and return. The technical interview was supposed to be 40 mins but it went longer with another interviewer joining and asking more questions. I had another interview in 20 mins and was feeling rushed, making it hard to concentrate. The interview wasn't well-organized and we couldn't finish because I had to leave for another call. They never got back to me, not even a rejection.
